Modal-Nylon Double-Knit Pique

Modal-Nylon Double-Knit pique is made from 50s Modal and 70/40 nylon air-covered yarn. The Modal fibers bring a softer, smoother hand than standard cotton piqué, while the nylon air-covered yarn—textured with an air-jet process to be more voluminous and elastic—reinforces the double-knit structure so the fabric stays crisp and holds its shape.

This combination makes the piqué feel more substantial and look more refined than standard cotton piqué. The nylon content also adds a degree of stretch and recovery, helping prevent the collar and placket from sagging or losing shape after washing. The overall fabric reads as a more premium option, suited for polo shirts positioned above entry-level price points.
